1001bit tools handbook - view on MAC

Postby lexje » Sun Sep 13, 2009 10:57 am

Hi everyone,

First off thanks a lot for 1001bit!!
Second, thanks to Li Song for putting together the handbook :-)

I'm not a Mac user, but for those having trouble with chm (windows helpfiles) on Mac, have a look here:
http://chmox.sourceforge.net/ It's opensource and it can solve your problem.

HTH

I tried the Chmox,
that did not seem to work either, it would load and parts of it were okay, but no graphics came thru...
seems like it might need some work...

I can open the chm-file, but ist doesn't show the flash-videos (only shows a little red Cross in the upper left corner). Can anyone help me Why this isn't working?

and another question, is There any type of pdf or otherwise printable "offline"-handbook avaliable?

I Love 1001Bit tools please keep up the good work !

Has anyone had any luck opening this with Chmox on MacOS 10.6? All I get is a blank white window...

Edit: this one opens it: http://blogote.com/2008/softwares/downl ... -os-x.html

But results are still largely gobbledegook...

hi Tim,
Sorry, I myself is not really familiar with chm files and it's application on Mac. The handbook is a contribution from SongLi whom i believe is working on Windows platform, I'll drop him an email.
I will be working on the handbook in printable format instead of videos hopefully starting end June. Target to get it out end July. :)
