Is it possible to do a ruby for Door and Window Schedules?

this would be in LayOut I think,
and also for details symbols link so that if you call out this detail as seen on page #9 it would like there,
SU/LO is very close to working for construction docs...maybe this will make it work.

hi redinhawaii,
I agree, it'll be more useful for door and window schedule to be in Layout.
however, if you build your model in 3d, then use Layout for presentation by setting the view on a 3d model, then the quantities will still have to be sorted by 3d components/groups.
I have not spent much time in Layout though. Need to understand it a bit more to be able to sort out a good work flow....
To answer your question, quantity take off is definitely possible. The key is a logic that can cover stuffs created in 1001bit tools, plus those components that are not created using 1001bit tools. That's the challenge. :D
