Roof Tool and Rafters tool

Goh,
they work quite smoothly, but I am lost as how to efficiently put on a fascia.
I have tried the follow me tool, but it is too cumbersome,
is it possible to have a fascia choice in the roof framing tool?
and once I create a hip roof, how would you suggest I create depth in it, as I want to simulate the ply roofing thickness, once I go to a hipped roof, the push pull tool will not
efficiently make all surfaces thicker, I can do one at a time but that is slow, incorrect and guess work.
I would deeply appreciate your perspectives.

hi Red,
You can use the vertical wall tool to create the fascia boards by setting the wall alignments on the left or right, then pick on the middle of the bottom edge of the ridge or valley rafters.

The roof thickness, however, is a problem.
You can move the original hip roof faces upwards (above the battens),
then create another copy of the hip roof faces above the original faces. You will still need to fill in the faces along the eaves.

I'll think of some tool to resolve this in future.

I did not find it that easy as the top is sloped with the rafter slope.
the push pull was challenging too,
there must be a way to simply make a fascia without a lot of complication, can it be a ruby and or part of the roof rafter tool?

Yes, the right thing to do is to include it as part of rafter tools in future version.
The roof finish thickness too.
meanwhile, a tip,
The rafters and battens are all inside a group. Place the group onto a layer and then hide that layer.
this way, you can quite easily trace the outline using the original roof faces.

thanks for the reply,
also, I found that the framing is all above the wall / plate line, so it is not how the roof would be framed.
that pushed my roof members higher than how they would be built,
also, we frame most hip roofs here as trusses, that would make your ruby more accurate if it had a bottom chord and jacks.
should I send you a model of what it is to look like?
